The visual identity of Fourfold Solitude developed alongside the music. From the beginning, the album needed more than a cover: each of its four tracks required a visual atmosphere that could extend the experience without explaining the songs too literally.
The result is a connected series of visualizers created with AI-based image and motion tools.
Four Tracks, One Visual Language
Although the four songs represent different states of isolation, they belong to the same world. The visualizers follow this structure: each has its own rhythm and emotional character, while recurring textures, contrasts and symbolic elements connect them to the larger Fourfold Solitude concept.
The images function less like traditional narratives and more like fragments of memory. They do not illustrate every lyric or define a fixed story. Instead, they create a space around the music and leave room for the listener's own interpretation.
Darkness, damaged surfaces, restrained colours, industrial textures and dreamlike movement became the main elements of this visual language.
The intention was to make the album recognizable even before the first note was heard.
Working with AI as a Visual Tool
AI made it possible to explore environments, forms and movements that would have been difficult to produce through conventional filming for this first release. The process was based on direction, generation, selection and composition: finding the images that genuinely belonged to THRN's world and rejecting those that did not.
The technology opened a wide field of possibilities, but the visual identity still had to remain consistent with the album. Every element needed to support the atmosphere of Darkwave / Gothic Rock / Industrial rather than exist only as decoration.
The music established the direction. The visual material followed it.
The First Moving Form of THRN
As a one-person project, I focused on creating a coherent visual system that could accompany all four songs. Rather than producing a single traditional music video and leaving the remaining tracks without a visual presence, I wanted the complete album to have a moving identity from the beginning.
These visualizers became the first representation of THRN in motion. They introduced the visual tone of the project and created a foundation that can be developed further with future releases.
What Comes Next
More music videos are planned.
The current visualizers establish the atmosphere of Fourfold Solitude, but they are not the end of its visual world. Future videos can take individual songs further through more detailed concepts, physical environments and stronger narrative structures.
For now, the four visualizers form a complete first chapter:
four different states of isolation connected through one visual language.
